Sumud was born in october 2007 and has been officially instituted and registered in october 2008.

In November 2008 a Sumud delegation went to the Palestinian refugee camp of Ein el-Hilweh, at the invitation of the association of young Palestinians and Lebanese Nashet. You can see some pictures of the Camp of Ein el-Hilweh taken by our delegation in this Photo Gallery.

The first official mission of Sumud was the Work Brigade in Ein el-Hilweh, which took place in august 2009. You can read the Report and see some of the pictures sent to us by the Brigade in the Camp.
