Taking part into Sumud activities

Becoming a member of Sumud

Becoming a member of Sumud is easy.

You just have to send a mail to soci@sumud.org in which you express your interest in becoming a member.
You will receive an answer with the instructions on how to pay the yearly subscription and to access the newsgroup reserved to Sumud members.

Obviously, this mail will be considered as a simple info request, without any obligation for you; till when (and if) you decide to confirm your subscription with the payment of the annual due, nobody will disturb or press you.

If you are eager to partecipate to our activities and you wish to become a member of Sumud straightaway, you can simply use the button below to pay the annual subscription.

Subscription type:

Once your subscription has been registered, you'll be a member of Sumud in all respects: you'll be entitled to partecipate (with active and passive voting right) to ordinary and exraordinary assemblies, and to take part to the online discussions and the supporting initiatives, and obviously to the missions organized by Sumud.

We wish to point out that all the regular members have the same rights as the founding members, can vow and be elected for all the charges (including Chair) with the only exception of the Policy Board (arbiters whose function is to assure everybody that the association will always follow the Statute and the Declaration of Intent).

Taking part into Sumud activities

All the activities organized by Sumud, for opportunity reasons, are reserved to members.

The partecipation to the humanitarian missions organized by Sumud are also subject to the approval of the Executive Committee of Sumud, received after attending a short (and free) training course (usually lasting for a day or maybe a week-end).
This should not be considered as a discrimination, but as a further precaution to warrant everibody's safety; considering the peculiarity of some destinations of our missions, it's better for everybody that the people who partecipate to them are instructed about how to behave, and that people unfit for a specific mission don't take part to it.
